Graduates of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Participate in International Conferences
Two graduates of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Cihan University-Erbil, currently studying for their master’s in India, participated in an international conference.
Ahmad Nabaz and Burhan Khalil, who completed their bachelor’s degrees in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department of Cihan University-Erbil, are currently studying for their master’s degree in India. In line with their postgraduate studies, they attended “the 56th Annual National Conference of the Nutrition Society of India” at Symbiosis International University in India.
The conference, which was held on (14 and 15/11/2024) and is known as (NSI), is one of the largest nutrition conferences in Asia. About two thousand experts in nutrition and dietetics participate annually in it, presenting the latest studies, technologies, and techniques relevant to the field. In addition to the scientific discussions on various aspects, it is a good chance for researchers to make relationships with other experts and universities.
As the graduates have been well equipped with knowledge and information in their field during their four-year study at Cihan University-Erbil, they had a significant role in the conference. Ahmad Nabaz led the registration committee and was a scientific committee member to evaluate the submitted posters and presentations. On the other hand, Burhan Khalil was a member of the registration committee and one of the sponsors of the conference.
