How to Improve the Research and Academic Activities in a Seminar?
Under the auspices of The President of Cihan University-Erbil, Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawy and the Department of Civil Engineering, on April 17th, 2022, Cihan-University-Erbil organized a scientific seminar presented by Dr. Omar Dahham and in the presence of the President of the University and the teaching staff on how to improve the research and academic activities of Cihan University.
The seminar aimed to develop and improve scientific research at the university by giving proposals and parameters regarding the process of publishing research and developing plans to increase the research. The possibility of linking the university Journal under the platforms Scopus and Clarivate WOS was also discussed.
The need to increase and strengthen the university’s academic activities was later discussed through the university’s collaboration with international universities such as universities in the UK, Malaysia, and Turkey and by organizing workshops and seminars at Cihan University to develop the expertise of the university’s academic staff.
At the end of the seminar, the expected outcomes were discussed, which include increasing the number of practical research for Cihan University, increasing the skills of academic staff in the field of scientific research, as well as collaboration between Cihan University and universities outside Iraq
