Informatics and Software Engineering Department Students Conduct a Presentation on Artificial Intelligence in Cloud Security
On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Department of Informatics and Software Engineering organized a scientific activity, which focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cloud Security.
The activity, held in the university’s VIP Hall in the presence of the Head of the aforementioned department, faculty members, and students, featured a presentation by two fourth-year students, Noraallah Fayadh and Dania Osama. Their presentation elucidated the latest concepts concerning the application of AI techniques to enhance the security and protection of cloud computing systems. They also highlighted the most prominent cyber threats confronting institutions and companies in digital work environments, explaining how intelligent algorithms and machine learning techniques can be effectively utilized to monitor and counter cyberattacks.
They later enriched the activity by presenting practical experiments and comparisons between traditional and modern models in cloud protection. The activity also included a rich scientific discussion between faculty members and students, which contributed to elevating the students’ proficiency in engaging with the latest global technologies in cybersecurity and AI, thereby fostering an academic environment conducive to innovation and creativity.
