Interior Design Engineering Department Organized a Scientific Field Visit to Asan Kar Company – Erbil
On Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Interior Design Engineering Department at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific field visit to Asan Kar Company, specializing in kitchen design and implementation, for a group of 2nd year students as part of their academic requirements.
The visit was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Lana Shahab Ahmed, with the assistance of Assistant Lab Gulan Abdulhady Sabr. The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Abdulhamid Karem Ahmed, who hosted the visit and introduced the company’s scope of work. During the visit, Mr. Abdulhamid Karem Ahmed provided detailed explanations about kitchen design processes, including space planning, functional zoning, ergonomic standards, material selection, storage solutions, and the integration of appliances within modern kitchen layouts.
