International Relations and Diplomacy Department Students Attended a Workshop on Government Spending Rationalization Policies

On Monday, December 9, 2024, a group of students from the International Relations and Diplomacy Department at Cihan University – Erbil attended a workshop titled Government Spending Rationalization Policies at Luna Hotel in Erbil.

Organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, the workshop covered key principles and foundations that state institutions rely on in shaping their financial and economic policies, as well as how to design and implement policies to rationalize government spending and maximize the utilization of the state’s materials and human resources. Additionally, the workshop addressed the most effective practical methods adopted by government entities and the private sector to ensure the optimal investment of available financial resources to achieve social welfare for individuals.

The students actively participated in the workshop by sharing their opinions and ideas, enriching the discussion with their insights. They also presented proposals to enhance scientific and training cooperation between the state and academic institutions.
