Media Department Holds Friendly Match with NRT Channel in Sports Activity

On Monday, January 12, 2026, students of the Media Department at Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer (Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim), held a friendly football match with the NRT Channel office in Erbil.

Students from all the four stages of the Media Department participated in the match, that took place at Tablo Mall Stadium in Erbil city, against the football team of NRT Channel’s Erbil office. The match was held at a high level, with a sporting spirit and full of competition. After great effort from both sides to decide the match result in their favour, the match ultimately ended in a draw for both teams.

In conclusion, the supervising lecturer thanked the players of both teams for conducting the match in a sporting spirit and away from violence, hoping that this match would be a starting point for building a beneficial professional relationship between both parties.
