Media Department Students Conduct Cultural Visit to Awer Library

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, a group of students from the Department of Media at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a cultural activity by visiting the Awer Library in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Jamal Hama Karim.

The supervising lecturer and students were received by Mr. Awer Hassan, Director of Awer Library for Printing and Publishing. In his remarks, he highlighted the history of the library’s establishment and noted that it has published more than a thousand works across various fields. The supervising lecturer also emphasized the library’s role in promoting culture and supporting academic institutions by providing access to diverse scientific resources.

During the visit, the students toured the library and obtained several scientific sources. At the end of the visit, the supervising lecturer thanked the director of Awer Library for his support and expressed hope that the library would continue to contribute even more to the cultural development of the Kurdistan Region.
