Media department students on(One News) became closely acquainted with the media field
To get more closely acquainted with their future working environment and how media organizations deal with news and topics of the day, the media department’s leadership at Cihan University Erbil organized a science tour for students.
On Sunday,13/3/2022, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hemin Amin Shwani, second-stage media students visited(One News)in Erbil.
Their arrival was welcomed by Ahmed Rabia, director of the newsroom. After greeting teachers and students, he delivered a summary of the institution and a necessary explanation of the duties of the newsroom. General and on their channel especially presented to the students and stated: the newsroom in each media organization is considered an important step, so on One News channel we are daily through a team in the newsroom in partnership with (7) reporters in (7) provinces The Kurdistan Region and lower and central Iraq cover the events and topics of the day at the level of Iraq, the Kurdistan Region and the world in Arabic, At the same time, we have many daily and weekly political programs to analyze the second side of the news and events hosted by an expert. In another part of his speech, the director of the newsroom in a field of discussion of duty News anchors, reporters, news editors, and newsroom staff encouraged students to practice the information and science they receive at the university.
At another part of their visit, students visited social media departments, control rooms, and studios. He talked about how to run the studio’s affairs and the programs and news that are presented in their studios and explained how they publish news every day at 5 hours a day. As they will have special coverage for special topics, at the same time they have various programs in the studios, he highlighted that they have special locations for each program. During his speech, Malik Baban explained the studio works in voice, camera, light, news writing, director, and control for students.
Finally, Assistant Lecturer Hemin Amin Shwani, the head of the media department, thanked the channel’s officials for the welcome and provided information and explanations to the students, and introduced them to the tv field.
