Media Department Students Present Seminar on Artificial Intelligence at CIS Institute
On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, third-stage students from the Media Department at Cihan University–Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Dlan Ismael Mawlood, visited the CIS Institute in Erbil and delivered a seminar titled ‘Artificial Intelligence from a Youth Perspective.’
The seminar was presented by third-stage media students Mustafa Taghlub, Rand Noaman, and Tamar Amer. The students were warmly received by Mr. Mohammed Muhsin Hamid, Director of Student Affairs at the CIS Institute, who praised their initiative and commended their efforts to enhance the academic and scientific awareness of the participants.
In the first part of the seminar, student Mustafa Taghlub introduced the concept of artificial intelligence and its relationship with the field of public relations, describing it as a system that simulates human thinking. In the second part, student Rand Noaman delivered a detailed presentation on creating and managing smart content, including drafting effective media messages and identifying the optimal timing for publication. In the final segment, student Tamar Amer discussed building institutional reputation, e-marketing, and measuring media performance through the use of AI tools.
At the end of the seminar, the Director of Student Affairs at the CIS Institute expressed his gratitude to the students for delivering a valuable and insightful presentation. He also praised their high academic standard and their choice of a contemporary and relevant topic.
