Media Department Triumphs Over Medical Microbiology in Internal Football League

As part of the internal football league of Cihan University – Erbil, the fifth match of the tournament was held on Wednesday, 27 January 2026, in an action-packed encounter between the students’ teams of the Media Department and the Medical Microbiology Department.

The Media Department team, considered one of the strongest contenders for the championship, entered the match with determination, signaling to all competitors that they were focused on the trophy. From the opening minutes, they dominated offensively, scoring the first goal and quickly adding a second, comfortably ending the first half in their favor.

Despite the Medical Microbiology team’s persistent efforts and their success in scoring a goal, they could not withstand the continuous attacks of the Media Department, who extended their lead with a third goal.

In the second half, the Medical Microbiology team reorganized and managed to score a second goal, reducing the deficit to just one.
