Medical Biochemical Analysis Department Students Visited the Center for Quality Control

The Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Abdul Salam Atallah visited the Center for Quality Control of the Ministry of Health in Erbil on Monday (25 April 2022).

On this day, students of the aforementioned department visited all kinds of laboratories. The students were briefed about the qualitative control of all types of medicine and how to make medicine according to the required international power. The types of chemicals that enter into the composition of medicines and how to produce them according to the expiration timings of each drug and how to work the special concentrations of each drug were described.

The students were also introduced to the types of pollutants to which chemicals related to the manufacture of the drug are exposed. The aim of this visit was to get students to learn how to control the quality of each drug, how to make medicine, know their types, and how to avoid mistakes that occur during the manufacture of medicines.
