Medical Biochemical Analysis Wins Dramatic Third-Round Match Against Law Department

On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, and as part of the internal volleyball championship at Cihan University–Erbil for all academic departments, the third-round match took place between the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis and the Law Department. It was an exciting, dramatic, and highly competitive encounter in which the Medical Biochemical Analysis team eventually came out on top.

The first set went completely against expectations. The Medical Biochemical Analysis team had a poor start and failed to find their rhythm, losing the set 25–15. The Law team showed strong preparation and proved they were not an easy opponent.

In the second set, after a heated battle filled with aggressive attacks and solid defense—and after reorganizing and correcting their early mistakes the Medical Biochemical Analysis players bounced back and won the set 25–20.

The third set felt more like a championship final, full of intensity and determination. The Law team regained their momentum and focus, taking the set 25–17.

The fourth set was marked by high energy and careful handling of each ball. The Medical Biochemical Analysis team appeared more disciplined and better organized, and with a clearer game plan, they won the set 25–19, sending the match into a decisive tie-break.

To determine the winner, the match moved to the fifth set, played to 15 points. The atmosphere in the arena ignited with every point scored. While the Law team relied heavily on defense, the Medical Biochemical Analysis team pushed forward with strong attacks. Fatigue and lack of experience in crucial moments affected the Law team, allowing Medical Biochemical Analysis to dominate and close the set 15–7, securing a well-deserved victory.
