Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Cihan University – Erbil and Charmo University –Chamchamal
Cihan university – Erbil, represented by its president Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Aldalawi and Charmo University – Chamchamal represented by its president Prof.Dr. Salah Raza Saeed both signed MOU.
Thursday 30th of August, Cihan University (CU)-Erbil entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Charmo University (CHU), Chamchamal, Iraq. The aim of the MOU is to enhance cooperation in research and education. Dr Isam .K Abdullah the vice president for scientific affairs said : ” The programme encourages faculty members and students from each university to visit the other institution for the purpose of lecturing, conducting research or developing academic.”
As stated in the MOU, the parties will undertake to start joint activities such as:
- Exchange of teaching staff.
- Exchange of organize and perform joint research projects, academic seminars and guest lecturers,
- Joint publication.
- Exchange scholarly materials, research reports, publications, etc.
- Increase the opportunities for CU students to study Master and PhD courses at Charmo.
