On the 7th day; exploring different aspects of climate change for students of Cihan University-Erbil in Poland
Students of Cihan University-Erbil in Poland continued their participation in various activities related to the causes and consequences of climate change. For this purpose, they participated in two other academic activities on the seventh day.
In the first activity, Dr. Beriwan Ali presented a seminar entitled “The Impact of Microbial Infections on Climate Change.” During her presentation, she delved into a detailed discussion about the influence of microbial infections on climate change. Furthermore, she provided insights on how these impacts can be mitigated in everyday life, referencing successful approaches adopted by several countries to combat climate change.
Moving on to the second part of the event, Dr. Łucja Lange presented a seminar entitled “One World, One Health, One Future: The ‘Just One Health’ Approach in Times of Climate Crisis.” In this seminar, she provided a clear examination of the climate change crisis and its effects on public health. Additionally, she explored strategies to prevent climate change and reduce its overall impact on individual health.
Following these presentations, the students of Cihan University-Erbil actively contributed to the topic by posing insightful questions and sharing their opinions, particularly on how to leverage successful experiences in the field of health to address climate change challenges.
