Opening an Art Gallery in Biology (Medical Microbiology) Department

A group of second year students in General Biology Department held an art gallery on Thursday April 8, 2021 under the supervision of the head of the department Dr. Ameena S. M. Juma and the Assistant Lecturer Omar Fikrat Bahjat. The gallery included a group of personal drawing, handcraft items in addition to a group of Oriental dishes.

The department was honored by the visit of the University President, Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Dalawi to open the gallery with the attendance of Dr. Maysoon Al-Haidari, Vice President of Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Abdulsattar Sherwani, Vice President of Students and Administrative Affairs.

It’s worth mentioning that holding such a kind of Art galleries alongside with other activities  is an opportunity  to highlight and  develop youth talents.
