Then it moves to the packaging section of the factory to be stored in frozen warehouses to preserve the product as long as possible before reaching to customer’s hands. Mr. Hana Abdulkarim Ahmad, the Production Manager of the factory, explained the whole process in detail for the students.
The visit also included meeting of the students with the Account Manager, Mr. Hardi Hama Karim, who explained the mechanisms of the company’s procurement committee activities, as well as the loans and daily expenses that are included in the work of the factory in addition to the daily sales based on different geographical regions.
The visit was ended by allowing the students to discuss the Group’s work mechanisms, including the government laws issued recently to prevent the import of ice cream from outside of the country and rely only on domestic production. They also asked many questions relating to the production on demand, the expiry period of the factory’s products, and the difference between ice cream and other food products depending on the starting and ending of the selling season.
