On Sunday, October 11, 2026, third-year Physiotherapy students at Cihan University–Erbil visited Helina Center under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Parween Askandar Hamza.

The students were received by Dr. Hazhen Talat Saman, who introduced them to the center’s facilities and rehabilitation services.

During the visit, the students observed various pediatric conditions, including cerebral palsy (CP), spina bifida, developmental delay, Down syndrome, congenital torticollis, and other neuromuscular disorders.

The center’s staff explained the characteristics of these conditions, the physiotherapy interventions used in their management, and the rehabilitation techniques applied to improve children’s functional abilities.

The students also visited different sections of the center and learned about various orthoses and assistive devices designed to support children’s posture, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities.
