Physiotherapy Trainees Raise Awareness on Physical Health at Erbil Schools
To promote awareness of proper posture and healthy habits, the Physiotherapy Department at Cihan University-Erbil organized a series of educational activities for school students throughout Erbil.
As part of this initiative, on Monday, November 25, 2024, a group of physiotherapy trainees visited King International School in Erbil under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Tokar. They were warmly welcomed by the school principal, Mr. Zamin Najmaddin Ibrahim.
In the school’s activity hall, the trainees conducted a session titled “Posture Awareness and Its Importance for Health Among Students.” They provided a comprehensive and scientific explanation of the human body’s structure and shared practical tips for maintaining physical health. The session aimed to benefit both students and staff by addressing common daily habits that could potentially harm the body over time.
The event concluded with an engaging discussion, during which students and teachers asked questions and exchanged perspectives with the trainees. This interaction fostered a deeper understanding of the importance of posture and overall physical well-being.
