In honour of the commencement of the 2024–2025 academic year, Cihan University–Erbil President Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al–Delawi released the following statement:

Greetings,

Dear Professors and students:

In honour of the beginning of the 2024–2025 academic year, My sincere congrats! I hope that this year, in addition to carrying on with our scientific pursuits from previous years, we will also make greater efforts to guarantee that our university continues to be a lighthouse of knowledge and advancement in the academic community, contributing to the prosperity of our nation.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the university’s students who were able to successfully finish their studies last year and record positive outcomes for themselves, their families, and the university. It is crucial that they continue their studies this year, develop new concepts, make the most of scientific resources, look for meaningful connections, and pursue their academic and personal objectives. The key players in our triumphs, scientists, researchers, and teachers, consider how you help pupils grow intellectually and push the boundaries of science.

For both instructors and students at our university, the upcoming academic year will be jam-packed with scientific triumphs. We’ll also keep working to raise the standard of science, create a more conducive learning atmosphere, and present you with new initiatives and services.
