Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, the President of Cihan University-Erbil, has sent another group of students to Poland
He stated, “Our university strives to fully adhere to international standards in higher education. To achieve this, we are continuously working across all levels to elevate the academic and intellectual standing of our students.”
The president of Cihan University-Erbil made the announcement on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at a reception and gathering for students and their families. The students are expected to depart for Poland in the next days to finish their studies there. We have worked together with our university in the past, and we appreciate that you have given Cihan University-Erbil and your children hope. You are also eager to get the university’s support to help your children learn at a level that is on the same level with or higher than that of students from other nations.
President of Cihan University-Erbil stated: “This group, consisting of six students from various departments at our university, underwent a rigorous selection process to be chosen from among the 6,029 students at Cihan University-Erbil. The selection was based on a set of scientific principles and criteria established by our university in collaboration with the University of Lodz in Poland.”
In another part of his speech, Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi addressed the students, saying: “When you travel to Poland, you represent Iraq, the Kurdistan Region, Cihan University-Erbil, and your families. It is crucial to uphold moral, educational, and scientific standards, as you have earned this trust, which comes with great responsibility. This experience will pave the way for your future higher education opportunities.”
In closing, the president of Cihan University-Erbil gave the students a set of scientific guidelines and advice on how to conduct themselves while in this nation. He also directed the heads of the scientific departments to stay in close communication with the students to address any personal or scientific enquiries they may have while they are in Poland.
