Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, Announces a Tuition-Fee Exemption for 432 First-Year Students.
In the light of its long-term commitment to supporting students and graduates of the 12th grade, Cihan University-Erbil has approved a scholarship program for the 2024-2025 academic year. A total of 432 students have been awarded scholarships at varying rates, providing them with valuable educational opportunities.
Following the submission process, applicants sought scholarships across different departments. In February, the university finalized the selection, with 16 decrees issued by Prof. Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil. The names of all successful recipients have now been officially announced.
In a strategic move to support outstanding 12th-grade graduates, the presidency of Cihan University-Erbil has announced a new scholarship initiative. This decision, based on Administrative Decree No. 1763 issued by the Board of Trustees of Cihan Universities on October 11, 2017, aims to provide financial assistance to top-performing students.
Within the framework of this initiative, a number of study seats across various university departments have been designated for scholarships. These include tuition fee reductions based on academic performance, with discounts ranging from 15% to 100%.
On this special occasion, the President of Cihan University-Erbil extended heartfelt congratulations to all students who have been awarded scholarships, as well as to the first-year students joining the university. Reaffirming the university’s role as a leader in the private education sector, he emphasized its ongoing commitment to empowering young minds by providing opportunities that foster skill development and academic excellence across various fields.
