Scientific trip

This trip was conducted by the Biology Dept. of Cihan University under the supervision of lecturer Dr. Ali M. R. Al-Fendi, Asst. Lecturer Tanya S. Salah, Asst. Lecturer Safa S. Hayder, Asst lecturer Sarwan Hamad and Asst. Lecturer Hawri Fatih Sami.

Fourth year students of Biology department visited the Research Center and Biology Department at Koya University on Tuesday 18 April 2017.

We were welcomed hospitably with a safety and precaution presentation from the staff. Students were able to observe various lab departments including Tissue culture, Bacteriology, Biochemistry, Parasitology, Hematology, Virology, and Molecular labs.

In each lab. the staff made short presentation about the department, the equipment, the devices, and the tests done by them, and were happily answering any question was made by our students.

The visit last for about 3 hours, our students were very pleased to have such opportunity to see the scientific work of their specialty and looked forward to the future ahead of them.
