On the 3rd of March 2016, the Architectural Engineering Department, Cihan University organized a scientific trip for the second year students, accompanied with the supervisors (Asst Lec. Nagham I. Yahya and Mr. Shvan S. Issa) to The International School of Choueifat and Khanzad Hotel on Masif Salahaldin Road, to show the students projects that are constructed on hilly site in Erbil to help them to imagine how they design in such a site. 

The International School of Choueifat hired one of the staff to accompany the students and their supervisors and to facilitate roaming inside the school campus. In Khanzad Hotel the management of the project gave the students a permission to move inside and around the project and take the required photos. At the end of the trip the students became ready to start with the first stage of the design process in (Architectural Design III) Project (Community center in Shaqlawa).
