Scientific Trip to Construction Sites
Civil Engineering Department organized a scientific trip for the 2nd year students under supervision Prof.Dr. Sabih Hashim on Sunday 24th February 2019 to a three construction sites within Erbil city area. The aim of the trip is to show the students the main types of the structural systems usually used in the construction process and the main features of each one. During this trip students experienced three types of structural systems, Space Trusses, Ribbed and flat plate slabs and traditional reinforced concrete building.
