Scientific Visit Organized by the Accounting Department to Vanya Company

On Sunday, February 1, 2026, the Accounting Department at Cihan University–Erbil organized a scientific visit for its fourth-year students to Vanya Company under the supervision of Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed.

The students were warmly received by Mr. Khalil Taha Khoshnaw, a member of the Board of Directors, along with Mr. Bahez Khalil Taha, the company’s accountant. During the visit, the company’s representatives provided a comprehensive overview of the organizational structure and accounting system, focusing on the operational stages from raw material procurement through production processes, inventory management, and finally sales and distribution activities.

Special emphasis was placed on the role of the accounting department in monitoring the flow of raw materials and their transformation into finished products, as well as on documenting accounting transactions and coordinating activities between the production, warehouse, and accounting departments. Mr. Bahez Khalil Taha explained the practical application of accounting principles in cost calculation, inventory control, pricing decisions, and financial reporting, highlighting the importance of internal control and accurate accounting records in an industrial environment.

At the enf of the visit, Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed expressed his sincere appreciation to the management of Vanya Company, represented by Mr. Khalil Taha Khoshnaw and Mr. Bahez Khalil Taha, for their warm hospitality and valuable explanations.
