Seminar entitled “Law applicable to international trade contracts”
Presented by (Law applicable to international trade contracts) in department of Law 213, 2018/1/3, at 1:30 pm. The seminar dealt with the concept of legal systems that follow a bilateral system in determining the applicable law on the contracts between parties of an international character, distinguishing between two cases. The first is the existence of an agreement between the parties on the applicable law governing the relationship. This agreement may be expressive and may be implicit; the second is the lack of agreement on the definition of applicable law In the event of a dispute between the parties to the contract) .The seminar was attended by a group of professors and students, and concluded the seminar with a set of conclusions and the recommendations presented by Dr. Younis.
