Asst. Lect. Dlzar Bakr Q. from collage of engineering – Department of Civil Engineering has prepared and presented a valuable seminar entitled ” RAP (Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement) “. The main concept behind this seminar is to illustrate how to use the recycled asphalt that is previously used may be 15 years age of the asphalt, why they use the RAP, What are the advantages of RAP and when we have to Recycle it. Actually, when the pavement seems to be deteriorated so we have to repave or resurface, Therefore Recycling is the best choice to used because of the cost effectiveness, Pavement Benefit, Natural Resource Conservation and Energy Saving.This seminar has been attended by the staff of Architectural Engineering and civil engineering departments.
