Students from Cihan University-Erbil actively participate in a seminar focusing on online work and its impact on climate change.
As part of their summer course training program in Poland, the students of Cihan University-Erbil engaged in a seminar specifically dedicated to remote work.
During the session, Dr. Aygün Kamm and Justyna Trippner-Hrabi presented a seminar titled “Working Remotely: A Sustainable and Necessary Solution to Climate Change” at the Conference Hall of Lodz University. They discussed the advantages and disadvantages of remote work and its implications for climate change. One key point highlighted was that remote work, due to reduced team interactions and decreased commuting, can contribute to mitigating environmental pollution. Consequently, the students were encouraged to embrace online work as a means to help maintain a clean environment.
Additionally, during the seminar, the students from Cihan University-Erbil actively participated by posing various questions. Their inquiries touched upon different aspects of the subject, such as methods to benefit from online work, its influence on climate change, and its applicability in Iraq and neighboring regions. These subtopics were thoroughly discussed among the participants, fostering an engaging and insightful conversation.
