Students from the College of Dentistry and Department of Dental Technology Attend ‘Aidite Launch Iraq’ Event
On Friday, November 21, 2025, two groups of students from the College of Dentistry and the Department of Dental Technology at Cihan University–Erbil participated in the ‘Complete Dental Lab & Chairside Solutions: Aidite Launch Iraq’ program.
Held at the Erbil International Hotel, the event was attended by second-stage students from the College of Dentistry under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Hassan Faez Abdullah and Maryam Fakhir Ibrahim. Additionally, second-stage students from the Department of Dental Technology participated under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Shwan Khayam Masoum.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Jegr Darbandi. The program began with an introduction to the latest dental laboratory technologies and digital chairside solutions, followed by a series of specialized seminars presented by industry experts.
Clinical Dental Technician Mr. Mitsutaka Fukushima delivered a key lecture titled From Simplicity to Perfection: How to Create Master Monolithic Results with the Biomic System. He discussed the Biomic system as an advanced approach for achieving high-quality monolithic restorations. Additionally, he explained methods to simplify workflows while maintaining natural aesthetics, strength, and precision. The session specifically focused on material selection, staining techniques, and achieving lifelike translucency comparable to that of natural teeth.
Additionally, Dental Technician Mohammed Al-Sharif presented on Strength and Fast Aesthetics with Aidite EZneer & Biomic-LiSi Connect, highlighting how these materials provide both durability and aesthetic appeal while enabling faster production times. This was followed by Dental Technician Osama Hijawi, who discussed digital workflows using the Aidite CAD/CAM System, explaining how Aidite’s CAD/CAM solutions streamline laboratory procedures, minimize errors, and enhance overall precision.
The event offered a valuable opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the Complete Dental Lab & Chairside Solutions, enabling them to gain key insights into advanced materials, digital workflows, and modern techniques. The program concluded with the distribution of participation certificates to all attendees.
