Students from the Department of Business Administration Visited the Last-Minute Factory in Erbil

On Wednesday, December 2, 2025, fourth-year students from the Business Administration Department at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a scientific visit to the Last-Minute Factory in Erbil, a facility specialized in producing food packaging cartons.The visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by the factory manager, Mr. Azad Abidin Adnan. Afterwards, the students attended a general presentation about the factory’s workflow, followed by a guided tour of its various departments.

During the visit, the production process of food packaging cartons was explained in detail. The students learned that the process involves several stages, each requiring specific machinery. They were informed that corrugated cardboard is used as the main material, which is then cut with specialized machines to form the cartons. Afterwards, the cartons undergo designing and printing, where logos and essential information are added using a printing machine. It was also emphasized that the quality of the cartons varies based on customer requirements.

In conclusion, the visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world practice. The supervising lecturer expressed appreciation to the factory staff for their cooperation and for allowing the students to observe the complete production process of food packaging cartons.
