Students from the Department of Business Administration Visited the Warehousing Department of Al-Yasra Company

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the fourth-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil conducted a field visit to Al-Isra General Trading Company in Erbil. The visit was supervised by Dr. Muslim Najeeb Zaidan, and the students were warmly received by Mr. Ziad Tareq Abdul Kareem, the Director of Administration at the company.

During the visit, Mr. Ziad Tareq Abdul Kareem accompanied the students and introduced them to the company’s three main warehouses, explaining the modern storage systems implemented in each facility.

The students toured all three warehouses. The first warehouse was designated for storing frozen products such as meat and chicken, maintained at –18°C to prevent spoilage. The second warehouse was used for dairy products such as cheese and milk, utilizing smart refrigeration systems to ensure product safety. The third warehouse stored liquid products such as juices and soft drinks, which are kept at 20°C using automatic hydraulic and refrigeration systems to preserve product quality.

The field trip provided students with an opportunity to enhance their understanding of product warehousing and to have their questions answered by the company’s staff. The supervising lecturer expressed sincere appreciation to Al-Isra General Trading Company for their hospitality and for providing the students with this valuable practical learning experience.
