Students from the Departments of Accounting and Business Administration Participate in the Turning Learning into Opportunity Program

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, students from the Departments of Accounting and Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil participated in the Turning Learning into Opportunity program held at Erbil Avenue, Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Raz Azad and Lecturer Rebin Bilal Mohammed.
The event began with a welcoming speech by Mr. Chadi Bou Ismail, General Manager, who emphasized the importance of investing in young talent and creating opportunities that bridge academic learning with professional development. He encouraged students to take advantage of such initiatives to enhance their skills, expand their professional networks, and prepare for their future careers.
Following the opening remarks, Mr. David Moloto, Vice President of Human Resources at Nestlé Middle East and North Africa (MENA), delivered an inspiring presentation on youth development and talent investment. He highlighted Nestlé’s commitment to supporting Iraqi youth through learning and development opportunities. Mr. Moloto shared his own career journey, explaining that he had once participated in a similar youth development program that helped shape his professional success. He congratulated the students on being selected for the program and encouraged them to make the most of every opportunity for growth and learning. He also stressed that young people have the potential to play a significant role in the future success of organizations and communities.
The session continued with a presentation by Mr. Nehmatallah Younes, Managing Director of the Levant Region and Business Executive Officer – Food at Nestlé Middle East and North Africa. He spoke about the importance of recognizing that talent exists everywhere and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to investing in talented young people. He explained that the program provides a valuable platform for students to develop their skills, work on practical case studies, and gain professional insights. Mr. Younes also encouraged students from different academic disciplines to collaborate, exchange ideas, and learn from one another, highlighting teamwork as a key factor in achieving future success.
At the end of the event, the students expressed their appreciation for the valuable knowledge and inspiration gained from the speakers, as well as for the opportunity to participate in a program dedicated to empowering the next generation of professionals.
