Students of Cihan University-Erbil begin their work in Poland by engaging in cultural and sports activities
Following their departure from Erbil, the students of Cihan University of Erbil, supported by Prof. Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Delawi, President of Cihan University-Erbil, commenced their activities at the University of Lodz in Poland.
On their first day, the students of Cihan University-Erbil, along with their supervising lecturers, participated in the European Culture and Civilization Festival in Poland. This event served as an opportunity for the students to gain a deep understanding of the diverse European cultures, music, art, songs, clothing, and food that coexist within Poland. The students thoroughly enjoyed their participation in this event as it allowed them to immerse themselves in the rich culture of these nations.
Furthermore, on the first day of activities, the students of Cihan University-Erbil engaged in a volleyball tournament. They formed two teams, consisting of students from universities in Turkey, Ukraine, and Brazil, with the aim of fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
In accordance with the collaborative agreements between the Cihan University-Erbil and the University of Lodz in Poland, which aim to facilitate scientific exchanges and participation in training courses, Cihan University-Erbil recently sent 17 students and two lecturers to the University of Lodz. These individuals are scheduled to stay in the country for two weeks, during which they will participate in various training courses on climate change, as well as partake in other scientific, cultural, and sports activities.
