Students of Cihan University-Erbil Explore Clinical Nutrition Practices at Paki Hospital

November 10, 2024 – Under the supervision of their lecturer, Mr. Reza Hasan Hashimi, fourth-year students from the Nutrition and Dietetics Department at Cihan University-Erbil visited Paki Hospital.

The students were introduced to cases in the intensive care unit, where they were greeted by the staff and an experienced nurse specializing in tube feeding placement. They learned about patient files, including relevant information and case complications. Additionally, they were guided through the process of nasogastric tube placement, from patient assessment to post-insertion care.

This activity is considered an important practical experience for the students, empowering them to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
