Students of Cihan University-Erbil Explored the Museum of Sports and Tourism in Poland

Along their journey to Poland’s tourism areas and museums, the students of Cihan University-Erbil visited the Museum of Sports and Tourism in Warsaw, Poland.

On Saturday (14/12/2024), Mujtaba Sabah Abdulhassan from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Paywand Pashtiwan Pusho from the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Cihan University-Erbil explored the museum, meeting many Polish sports athletes and personalities whose international achievements have strengthened Poland’s position in the global sports arena. They also got familiar with some sports equipment and games used in the country in various sports activities over the last years. This trip let the students deeply perceive the importance of sport in building and promoting national identity, and cultural understanding between nations.

The Museum of Sports and Tourism is one of the most important cultural and intellectual institutions in Poland, which displays the country’s rich sports history including medals, trophies, and equipment used by the country’s athletes in various international competitions.
