Students of Cihan University-Erbil Go to See the National Museum of Ethnography in Poland
On Saturday (14/12/2024), Shewar Rzhdi Mohammed, a student of the General Education Department, Cihan University-Erbil, visited the National Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw, Poland. Shewar is currently taking a course at the University of LODZ.
During the visit, he looked at traditional Polish clothes, agricultural equipment, and sewing machines of the 20th century. Moreover, the museum is an educational place that hosts Polish children and teaches them Polish history. Young visitors are allowed to stay there for 2-3 days to become fully acquainted with the details of Polish culture. The student of Cihan University- Erbil stressed that this visit was a unique opportunity for him to get a deeper understanding of the rich culture and heritage of Poland.
The National Museum of Ethnography was founded in 1888. It is the oldest museum in Poland and one of the largest ethnographic ones in Europe. After its renewal in 2013, a large number of local and international tourists annually visit the museum to see and understand the country`s culture and lifestyle in the past.
