Students of Cihan University-Erbil Visit the Royal Lazienki Museum in Warsaw, Poland
A group of Cihan University-Erbil students in Poland visited the Royal Lazienki Museum in Warsaw on Saturday (7/12/2025) as part of their journey to Poland’s archaeological, cultural, and historical areas.
Students of Cihan University-Erbil, consisting of Dina Ali Hassan, Zanoun Saad Zanoun, and Siban Nawzad Ismail from the Department of Medical Biochemical Analysis, and Shewar Rzhdi Mohammed from the Department of General Education, are currently completing their courses at the University of LODZ. Paying a visit to the Royal Lazienki Museum, they looked at the historical aspects of the museum, the reasons, and how it was built. The museum is commonly known as the “Palace on the Island” which dates back to the reign of King Sigismund III (1624). During their trip, the students were impressed by the museum’s wonderful classical architecture and historical importance in Polish history. At the same time, they viewed the peaceful scenery of the park which is decorated with monuments, gardens, and lakes. It provided the students with an inspiring environment, getting them to dive into Poland`s culture, nature, and history.
Cihan University-Erbil constantly supports students to take advantage of the provided opportunities to study abroad and visit different parts of the target country so that they broaden their perspectives and get acquainted with different aspects of that country. While observing the target country`s heritage by themselves, the students see the richness of its culture and have a chance to implement their perspective and knowledge outside the classroom.
