Students of Department of International Relations and Diplomacy celebrate the International Day of Sport for Peace and Development

In response to the call made by the United Nations, the students of Department of International Relations and Diplomacy celebrate the (International Day of Sport for Peace and Development), which falls on April 6 of each year.

Last March, the United Nations Organization called for the revival of the International Day of Sport for Peace and Development through social media due to the Corona pandemic, by publishing photos and comments calling for peace and development with the inclusion of two names (#just_ together and #sport day). The students interacted with this event, through their accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, by adding two other names (#just_ together and #University of Cihan in Arabic and Kurdish).

The call launched by the United Nations called for a fair distribution of the Coronavirus vaccine, as it included the following phrase, “Let us help end the Covid-19 pandemic by ensuring the protection of everyone, And to ensure fairness for all, so that we can recover better.”
