Students of the Community Health Nursing Department Conducted Healthcare Awareness Activities
On Monday (September 11th, 2023), a group of third-year students from the Community Health Nursing Department of Cihan University-Erbil, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Ayad Abdullah Rashid, visited the market of Newroz neighborhood in Erbil.
It involved healthcare awareness activities conducted to raise awareness among the citizens on how to prevent diseases and epidemics.
During the visit, the students provided healthcare instructions and advice to the employers, traders, and citizens of the aforementioned market on how to prevent the spread of acute diarrhea-cholera.
They also distributed posters to advise and raise awareness of severe diarrhea among the citizens and called the traders as well as residents of the neighborhood to comply with healthcare guidelines, in order to not become the cause of transmission of communicable diseases.
