On January 25, 2026, third-stage students from the Department of General Education conducted an educational seminar at Sharstany High School for Girls under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Dashne Abdullah Saeed.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received by the school principal, Ms. Rwnak Yaqwb Hussein, and the assistant manager, Ms. Atya. The seminar provided an opportunity for the university students to engage with the high school community about the vital role of education in empowering females. The presenters clearly explained how academic pursuit serves as a catalyst for building self-confidence, enhancing personal awareness, and uncovering individual talents.
In addition, the discussion emphasized that educating girls is a fundamental social responsibility and a key factor in the long-term development of society. To provide practical motivation, the students presented several case studies of educated women who have achieved success and made significant contributions in their professional fields. These examples encouraged the high school students to view education as a pathway to future leadership.
The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, during which the students actively engaged with the presenters to discuss their academic goals and future aspirations.
