Students of the Department of Law at Cihan University-Erbil organized a scientific visit to the Court of Appeal of Erbil

On Thursday, 11/5/2023, the Department of Law at Cihan University-Erbil, organized a scientific visit for the students of the first stage to the Erbil Court of Appeal, under the supervision of Professors (Dr. Imad Fattah and A. L. Hisham Hashem Mikael). The students were received by Mr. (Iyad Kakayy). Head of the Lawyers of Erbil Branch who gave a lecture on the most important rights and duties of a lawyer in accordance with the Law of Attorneys in the Kurdistan Region.

Moreover, A member of the Public Prosecution (Hewa Faraq Daze Ye) gave a lecture on the judicial organization in the Kurdistan Region and he clarified the most important legal texts of the Civil Procedure Law. After that, The students met Mr. (Masoud Saeed Siddiq), the judge of the Personal Status Court in Erbil, and he explained to them the jurisdiction of the Personal Status Court and the types of cases that are being considered by the court.

At the end of the visit, the professors and students expressed their thanks to the professors whom they met for providing important legal information.
