Students of the Physiotherapy Department Visited a Psychiatric Clinic

Within a series of activities and events of the Department of Physiotherapy of Cihan University – Erbil, third-stage students of the aforementioned department under the supervision of the school, Dr. Zina Nabeel, made a field visit to the Psychiatric Clinic on 20 October 2022 (Thursday).

As part of the Physiotherapy Department, the visit focused on how to provide psychological support to the patients of this department, in addition to relaxation and meditation sessions, and training in applying this technique to themselves and the patients as well.

Such a field visit is important for the physical therapy students to enrich their psychological support skills and also for them to apply these techniques to the patients who need them.
