Students of Translation Subtitling more than thirty movies

Students of Translation Department at Cihan University – Erbil have subtitled more than thirty movies under the supervision of Mr. Fereydoon Rasouli.

This activity has been fulfilled as a part of third year students’ educational program. Rim of the World 2019, Togo 2019, The King 2019, The last Husband 2020, and The King at Staten Island were some of the subtitled movies.

The subtitling has been varied from English into Kurdish and into Arabic. The subtitled movies have got a high quality to be on air in all of Kurdistan TV channels.

It is worth mentioning that subtitling is a corner stone in the field of translation and it has been looked after since the beginning of establishing the Translation Department.
