Teaching Pronunciation to Primary School Teachers

Head of English and Translation Departments Assistant lecturer Akram I.Danial delivered a lesson to the  primary school teachers / Science Croup-Grade 1 in the Language Training Room (Hall no.127) on Monday 17 th of April,2017.Mr. Akram talked about the sounds in English namely consonants and vowels,voiced and voiceless sounds,silent letters and the way of pronouncing them correctly.He also gave the trainees some important tips for proper pronunciation and how to look up the words in the dictionary to find the correct pronunciation.

It is worth mentioning that the lecturer used several classroom procedures and the most effective teaching techniques by using the power point presentation to ensure full and comprehensive understanding of the material taught.The participants (trainees)
found his lesson very useful and interesting.
