The College of Dentistry Organized the Art of Successful Life Management Workshop

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, the College of Dentistry organized a workshop entitled “The Art of Successful Life Management” in the conference hall at Cihan University.

The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Amjad Sabir Al-Dalawi, President of Cihan University, along with a group of lecturers, students, and individuals interested in developing effective communication skills for both professional and personal life.

The workshop was presented by Mrs. Parikhan Ahmed Karim, a lawyer, President of Arsan Training Organization, and Advisor to the President of the International Union of Women Coaches. She delivered a lecture on the importance of social skills for achieving success in both professional and personal spheres. She also discussed effective communication techniques and how to build successful relationships in various areas of life.

Miss Sawen Tahseen Taha, a lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Cihan University, also gave a presentation. Her lecture focused on how to face life’s challenges and struggles in a positive manner. She touched on self-motivation and emotional management strategies to achieve a healthy work-life balance, and discussed how to interact successfully with patients in medical departments. She further emphasized the importance of building strong academic and professional networks and shared strategies for managing life’s stressors through scientific and thoughtful approaches.

At the end of the workshop, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Qais Al-Jumaily, thanked the speakers for their efforts in delivering rich and purposeful content. He emphasized the importance of continuing such events, as they contribute to developing students’ capabilities and enhancing their personal and professional skills.
