The Consul general of the republic of Poland in Erbil visited Cihan University-Erbil

On Wednesday 29/7/2020, the President of Cihan university- Erbil Professor Dr. Amjad Saber Al-Dalawi Recieved Mr. Dominic Mosial, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Erbil.
At the beginning, On behalf of the University of Cihan, Dr. Amjad welcomed the Polish Consul’s sovereignty, and stressed the university’s happiness for these kinds of visits because of its importance that contributes to opening the horizon of scientific cooperation between the two sides.
After that, Mr. Mosial expressed his happiness and explained the reason for the visit to the attendees, which focused on two points: Firstly, discussing the educational process in the world in general and in the Kurdistan regional of Iraq especially. Secondly, discussing the recent scientific visit of a number of lecturers and students of the Nutrition Department at Cihan-Erbil University to the University of Warsaw in Poland and its scientific results achieved Contributed to the development of the scientific level of the two sides.
Furthermore, Professor Dr. Al-Dalawi talked about the importance of the University in the education process in the region and about the participation of students in all sectors in the country, stressing the benefit of Cihan group specially and private companies in general from graduates of the different departments of the university. As well as the strong relationship between Cihan university-Erbil and a number of polish Universities as a result of signing a number of memorandum of understandings with them.
After that, the two parties discussed means of cooperation in various fields, especially after returning the situation to normal in the coming months.

At the end of the meeting, the president of the University thanked the Polish Consul for his visit and wished to expand the relations between the university and Polish universities.
It is worth it to be mentioning that, the University of Cihan-Erbil, is one of the most important universities in the region, which seeks a wide step towards concluding agreements with many universities in the world to serve the scientific march in Iraqi Kurdistan.
