The Department of Architecture Organized a Scientific Visit to Rizgary Teaching Hospital – Erbil

On 6 March 2022, the Department of Architecture organized a visit to Rizgary Teaching Hospital in Erbil involving fourth-stage students under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sana Muhammad Omar. The objective of the visit was accomplished by allowing the students to discover project requirements in Architectural Design VII, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sana Muhammad Omar.

Upon arriving at Rizgary Teaching Hospital Assistant Professor Dr. Sana Muhammad Omar and the students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Rebwar Jalal Ghareeb from the Engineering Department at Rizgary Teaching Hospital. During the visit, Mr. Rebwar Jalal Ghareeb briefed about hospital services in the outpatient clinic and its history to the students. The visit was useful, as it provided the students with various information related to the hospital’s architectural, mechanical, and service components. The visit was also valuable, as it allowed the students to ask many questions related to the mechanisms of hospital design and the correct functional relationships between all medical spaces.

 At the end of the visit, Assistant Professor Dr. Sana Muhammad Omar thanked Mr. Rebwar Jalal Ghareeb for his support and initiatives presented to the fourth-year students.
