The Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil Conducted a Scientific Visit

On Monday, September 22, 2025, third- and fourth-year students from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil conducted a scientific visit to the ASNKAR Company factory in the industrial area of Erbil. The factory specializes in manufacturing iron structures, and the visit was supervised by Assistant Lecturer Hevi Mohammed Qadir.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly received by Mr. Omar Aziz Omar, the Director of the company. He provided them with a comprehensive overview of the factory’s operations, beginning with a tour of the main departments, including Accounting, Human Resources, Management, Design, and IT. He explained that ASNKAR Company generally uses the Sahli Soft accounting system, while Excel is employed for specific account records. He also highlighted the company’s use of design software such as Sap, Etabs Robot, Tekla Structure, and Autocad.

Following this, Mr. Omar guided the students through the factory floor, familiarizing them with the production stages from the storage of raw materials to their transfer into the production department and subsequent processing until the final product is completed.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their satisfaction with the experience and appreciated the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the company’s manufacturing processes.
