The Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil Student Participated in a Training Course
On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, a student from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil participated in a training course held in Shanghai, China.
The fourth-year student, who became the first from the university to take part in such a program, joined the international training course under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hawkar Qasim Birdawod, Head of the Department of Business Administration.
At the beginning of the course, participants from various countries including Cambodia, Malaysia, Nepal, Kenya, Lesotho, Mongolia, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq introduced themselves.
The organizers then presented a seminar titled “Rules of Origin for Developing Countries,” which focused on how developing countries can benefit from the experiences of developed nations by starting with small-scale initiatives and implementing gradual changes.
During the course, participants from different countries had the opportunity to share their ideas. The student from the Department of Business Administration at Cihan University-Erbil delivered a detailed presentation on China’s remarkable advancements in both the economic and educational sectors, emphasizing how the nation’s strategic policies and investments have positioned it as a global model of development for other countries to learn from.
