THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZED A SCIENTIFIC VISIT TO AL-YASRA FOODS COMPANY

On 10 October 2022 (Monday), the Department of Business Administration organized a scientific visit to Al-Yasra Foods Company for the fourth-stage students under the supervision of the Assistant Lecturer Mr. Azwar Mahdi Saleh and the Assistant Lecturer Ms. Bisar Muhammad.

Al-Yasra Food Company was established in 2003 as an agent for many food products in Iraq, as it includes many branches throughout Iraq. The visit included a field tour to the company’s various departments, product offers sections, seasonal offers, special offers and New Year’s offers.
While the second part of the field tour included visiting the foods warehouses, whether cold or dry, as some products are highly sensitive to temperatures, especially frozen foodstuffs, as any exposure to unsuitable temperatures, while dry products must be preserved in a way that exposes them to moisture and thus exposes them to damage.

The last part of the visit included a visit to the fulfilling the customer requests department and clarifying the used mechanisms for distributing customer orders in a way that ensures that the orders are handed to the consumer as quickly as possible.
